La Hacienda De Los Fernandez in Deer Park is hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant in the suburbs! What really sets them apart is the variety of vegetarian filling options—most places just offer beans and cheese, but here, you can choose from spinach & onion, bean & cheese, or a mix of fresh veggies for almost any item on the menu. It’s such a great option for vegetarians who want more than the usual choices! The service is always friendly, and the food is consistently delicious. However, only go to the Deer Park location—the Lombard one just isn’t the same in terms of quality and flavor. If you’re looking for amazing Mexican food in the suburbs, this is the place to go!

They have an amazing taco and enchilada special during lunch, M-F. They also have an outside terrace for dining, perfect if you want to get some sun on your lunch break. Service was quick and efficient. An excellent choice for a business luncheon. In the evening, this is great for a romantic date. Our server answered many questions, and he did it with grace and patience. We will definitely be back!

This place is fantastic! I only get the opportunity to go a few times a year. Their Shrimp a la Diabla (Camarones) is on fire that I’ve always ask to make it the spiciest. That is my usual dish and also the Mango Shaken Margarita with tajin chili rim is! Customer Service is phenomenal!

Pretty good food, small portions(perfect for lunch time), flavorful without being overwhelming. Caught them at the last minutes of the lunch special, and they hurried to honor the prices for us. The server was wonderfully attentive, and very pleasant. I will certainly try the "on the rocks" strawberry margarita next time, not a fan of the frozen one, but my lunch companion enjoyed 2 of the regular margarita, on the rocks. Looking forward to trying more on the menu. The atmosphere was gorgeous, and don't miss the adorable paintings at the bathrooms

Great atmosphere from walking in and being greeted to leaving. The bartender served our food. He could not have been nicer! Chips and salsa were wonderful. The chips come out warm. Had steak and vegetable tacos! We will go back!

The service was very kind and also speak Spanish. Food was well served. The grilled salmon excellent!. Also they served a small soup as optional courtesy at begining. The menudo was good as well. Salad with grilled chicken big enough. Fress tortillas made at the moment. Definitely Mexican food made with tasty ingredients. They also have horchata and Jamaica flavored water. Definitely will come back!
